The Hateful Gnats

Since I live in New England, I have both the pleasure and annoyance of dealing with the changing seasons. I only say annoyance now, as opposed to last year, because I have developed a new hobby of growing potted herbs. Since I am educating myself on this matter, everything seems to go the trial and error way. What worked very well for my plants and I this summer on the outdoor patio, is now not working so well for the poor darlings indoors. They are languishing, despite their hearty varieties: mint, rosemary, oregano, and lemon balm to name a few. Currently they suffer from crispy dried up leaves, black spots with yellowing leaves and most wretched of all: hateful fungus gnats. I just re-potted the bulk of them, and will do the remainder tomorrow. If anyone's a gardener out there, or aspiring herbalist (like me) you might find this blog link informative.
